About the players:

It's a thrill to play with such talented musicians and a great pleasure to play with friends! Let me tell you a bit about them,...

Saxophonist Glendon Smith studied at Humber College with one of Canada’s most influential music educators, Pat LaBarbera. He is now one of Toronto’s most versatile and in demand musicians and Glendon has also travelled the world playing music in such exotic locales as Dubai (U.A.E), Bangkok (Thailand), and the island of  Nevis (Caribbean). Glendon has also written, arranged, produced and played on numerous albums for Canada’s biggest and most profitable record company, Somerset Entertainment. Through his association with Somerset, Glendon has received two gold records and one Juno nomination.

Her debut album, "Straight Up" received international recognition charting in more than 20 countries. Stacie has also collaborated with saxophonist Billy Robinson (Charles Mingus, Freddie Hubbard, Archie Shepp) and has performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival where she received her 2nd nomination for the General Motors Grand Jazz Award and the Galaxie Rising Star Award of the CBC. Most recently, Stacie has been recording and touring with Juno Award winner Brandi Disterheft and has become a member of Archie Alleyne's award winning hard-bop band, “Kollage”.
